The Purity of Imagination and Color Included in WHIM Exhibition at the Manifest Gallery

Leslie Adams' painting, The Purity of Imagination and Color, has been juried into WHIM at the Manifest Gallery in Cincinnati, Ohio. WHIM is an exhibition of works of art about play, impulse, the fantastic, the fanciful, the mercurial, and the flighty. The self-portrait, first exhibited in the artist's solo exhibtion Leslie Adams Drawn from LIfe at the Toledo Museum of Art, was selected from 413 works by 132 artists from 29 states and 4 countries, including Canada, Japan, Scotland, and the United States. Twelve works by 8 artists from 7 states were chosen by a blind jury process for presentation in the gallery and the Manifest Exhibition Annual publication. WHIM will be on view during a Special Preview Event on July 10 (Ticketed 7-9 pm) with a Public Opening Reception on Friday, July 11 (6-9 pm). The exhibtion runs through August 8.
